HUMP DAY!! Made it half way through. what a relief!

SO for today, I'm upstate.

• Eating a huge bowl of oatmeal that I threw blackberries in and I am loving!!
• I have a 1:50 doctor's appointment in Poughkipsee, NY which is about 45 min away. Damn thyroid you would think, I've been going since I was 12, would it all be figured out? NAHH
• Then I think I'm going to have dinner at my Grandpa's house because I love him. Man is 81 and in better shape than I am! haha
• Back to the Boogie Down Bronx.

Ugh...

Thought I had to drive my Aunt to the doctor in Manhattan this morning so I woke up at 6... Not a big deal I know, only I got to bed at 2 o'clockish last night, after one of the longest Mondays of muh life!

So, in conclusion:

• Going to work early=leaving work early...
• I may be driving upstate after work, I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and it may just be easier to get up there tonight rather than tomorrow during the day.

Oh, and I'm up so early that there is nothing better on TV than music videos on Vh1? Why do people still make music videos? the only time they're played is before 9 o'clock on Vh1. Waste of money... yeah.

Day End Wrap Up...

What a day, what a day!

I completed all my domestic duties upstate, packed my laundry up and headed back to the Bronx.

HAD to make a quick stop at F&J pizzeria in Washingtonville, NY to grab a slice (or2) or pizza. I worked there for 5 years and can honestly say that I ate a slice every single night I worked there. One of the best slices of pizza I've ever had.

Traveled through the shiteous weather back to the little condo that could. Jumped right onto my bed and began my Oscar fest. Ok so i really dont go to the movies... ever... but I love a red carpet event!! Everyone was looking tres chic this year, I was thoroughly impressed. Kudos to those stylists.

Quick break to watch the Big 3, Sunday night line up! BIG LOVE, UNITED STATES OF TARA, SECRET DIARY OF A CALL GIRL

Ugh! so emotional, all 3 but especially Big Love. I bite my nails until the next episode!

I returned to watch the rest of the Oscars and they were really entertaining this year. I think my being on Twitter and discussing the wins, losses and crazy celebs was a big plus! haha

Attempted to do some homework but as usual... nothing ever gets done... Gonna try to do some at work tomorrow... dont keep your fingers crossed, k?

All in all a nice relaxing weekend, sigh, back to work. No rest for the weary!

SOOO a little late in the day to post the sched!

SO, I will update you!

Goal of the day to drive back down to the bronx... slowly but surely this will occur.

BEFORE I go though...

• Must finish folding my laundry
• Must finish baking my chocolate chip cookies
• Must clean all the dishes

Such a domestic diva today huh?

Don't wanna leave my dog. He doesn't leave my side while I'm home... feel terrible leaving him for the week :(

Day End Wrap Up...

Today was nice. My house is really comfy, but it should be when you live in the same place for almost 22 years!

I played with muh pup today. I hate leaving him during the week but there is simply not enough room in the Bronx for muh boy.

It was nice seeing a good friend today as well.

I got to take a nap! SAWEEET! mmm havnt had one in months!

Ma cooked up a real good dinner... risotto with mushrooms and cheese, asparagus on the side, and blackberries and mango. mmm mmm home cooked meals.

All in all an enjoyable Saturday!

So day 2 of being upstate. (well Orange County, NY is not really upstate but for some reason we are labeled that way)

Mom made pancake batter, as she has done pretty much every weekend of my life with the recipe listed below. They are amazing, love em, can't get enough of em!

I went out with my little brother's boss last night just to the bar in town. He's such a good guy so I hung for a little while with him and his cousin. They're both stand up gents haha

Today my plans are pretty much nothing I guess. This is what happens when I come upstate. There is no one home so I have nothing to do. I haven't checked the weather yet but if it isn't below 40 I will go for a run.

Ohh I dont mean to be a complainer, but humor me for a moment. My Aunt has 2 very nice cleaning ladies come every friday. They're fabulous, they do a fantastic job I couldn't say a bad thing about them.... EXEPT they come at 8 am every single Friday morning. So, here I am, awake at 8am on Friday morning. ewww.


But anyway it makes me get up and get going. And in my goings here are my plans for the day!

• Packing about 2 1/2 weeks worth of laundry
• Driving up state to go to my house where my mom lives (The real Orange County, NY)
• Doing my 2 1/2 weeks worth of laundry
• Hugging the daylights out of my Dog, Timber!
• Going for a run up there through Washingtonville. (I have the nicest course)
• Taking my bro's girlfriend out to dinner and a movie (coincidentally... her name is Caity)

I'll be up there until Sunday dealing with my wild parents and loving my dog! Let's see how fast I'll need to drive back down to the Bronx on Sunday, shall we?
