Day End Wrap Up...

Lots of Driving!! Must have gone about 300 miles today... wild I know. Someone has to keep those crazy gas companies in business so I guess that person is me!

Doctor visit was typical, got some blood work. I actually love getting blood taken.

My stop in New Paltz was nice but I'm really glad I don't go to school there (no offense SUNY New Paltz I know a lot of people that love you!)

Dinner at Grandpa V's was really fun and my drive back down to the Bronx was quick and painless.

Feels good to be in.

My grandpa! He's 81! and he just joined Twitter!

His reasoning? "because if I don't stay with the times, they'll pass me by!"

My grandpa was put in an orphanage with his sister when he was young because his parents couldn't afford having kids... I mean he was born in 1928.

Anyway all he wants to do is learn about new technology. In fact, I ate dinner over his house tonight and he said that he would like to live another 50 years because he is just dying to know what will be invented! We happened to be eating mashed potatoes at the time and he goes

"50 years ago, we didn't even have a potato peeler! All we had was a knife, an you peeled with a knife."

I think he may have exaggerated a bit but it was funny none the less...

Anyway. He rocks, I love him!

Weather Report...

40 degrees and sunny in February is the equivalent of 80 degrees and sunny in July...

BEAUTIFUL! I even wore flip flops today! With pants and a Patagonia bubble jacket, what can I say, my feet needed to get a lil fresh air!

I drove an hour to my Dr. appointment for the usual 10 minute check up for my thyroid. Oh, hypothyroidism... why do you plague me?! Anyway she says all is well so who cares it's worth it.

On my way back I stopped in New Paltz, NY. I went to SUNY New Paltz for one semester and hated it... not my thing I love Purchase College wayy better. Needless to say New Paltz has some kick ass food and I grabbed the burrito featured below!

Jammed in the car for the hour trip back to muh house, I love Sirius/XM U station!

Now I'm off to my Grandpa's house for dinner! LOVE my grandpa! more and more driving!

HUMP DAY!! Made it half way through. what a relief!

SO for today, I'm upstate.

• Eating a huge bowl of oatmeal that I threw blackberries in and I am loving!!
• I have a 1:50 doctor's appointment in Poughkipsee, NY which is about 45 min away. Damn thyroid you would think, I've been going since I was 12, would it all be figured out? NAHH
• Then I think I'm going to have dinner at my Grandpa's house because I love him. Man is 81 and in better shape than I am! haha
• Back to the Boogie Down Bronx.
