On the Sched...

THIS SNOW IS RIDICULOUS!!

As usual New York gets the last huge snow storm in March. I just ran through it and it is at least 10 inches to a foot. I'm at a loss for words to be honest. The only positive to this terrible situation is that school and work were both cancelled. SWEET

So in conclusion... movie marathon, catching up on school work, and that is IT!

Dinner and a Movie...

What I nice time I just had...

My brother's girlfriend is so nice and one of the cutest little girls everr.

Had really good food as usual at Cosimos! We started off with some...

• fried calamari, 
  
• I had spicy fussili and 
  
• Caity (oh did I mention her name is Caity too, be spell it different-- see!-- Catie/Caity) had some ravioli. DELISH! 

Then at the movies we had a great crowd in with us which made every joke funnier. You know when everyone repeats what the actor/actress just said? I like when I'm in theaters like that. To be honest I don't go to the movies often because I fall asleep in them! haha that's right. I'm an old woman... Whatareyagonnado!

Date Night...

Since my brother is gone for 3 months his poor girlfriend has no one to take her out on dates.
Since I have no boyfriend, I have no one to take me on dates.

THE SOLUTION: we're going on a date!

I love my brother's girlfriend! She's just the cutest little thing! We have a blast together while we commiserate about not being able to talk to Tomas.

On the Sched...

Ohh I dont mean to be a complainer, but humor me for a moment. My Aunt has 2 very nice cleaning ladies come every friday. They're fabulous, they do a fantastic job I couldn't say a bad thing about them.... EXEPT they come at 8 am every single Friday morning. So, here I am, awake at 8am on Friday morning. ewww.


But anyway it makes me get up and get going. And in my goings here are my plans for the day!

• Packing about 2 1/2 weeks worth of laundry
• Driving up state to go to my house where my mom lives (The real Orange County, NY)
• Doing my 2 1/2 weeks worth of laundry
• Hugging the daylights out of my Dog, Timber!
• Going for a run up there through Washingtonville. (I have the nicest course)
• Taking my bro's girlfriend out to dinner and a movie (coincidentally... her name is Caity)

I'll be up there until Sunday dealing with my wild parents and loving my dog! Let's see how fast I'll need to drive back down to the Bronx on Sunday, shall we?

Draggin...

It's just one of those days where the clock stands still, the minutes go nowhere and even though I have nothing better to do and nowhere better to be than here...I would rather be anywhere else other than this place.

I think tonight is a movie night. Into the Wild may be the film of choice. The first time I watched it was after my brother left for boot camp because I know it is one of his favorite movies and I was curious why, plus i missed him a lot. Now this will be the 4th time watching it in a month and I can not get enough.

There's just something about the whole leaving everything behind and doing what you need to do that is so motivating. Plus the whole idea of meeting people along the way... I love doing that. Nothing better than making a new friend. Oh and I love how Eddie Vedder did the soundtrack!

I need to buy the book and read it ASAP.
