Draggin...

It's just one of those days where the clock stands still, the minutes go nowhere and even though I have nothing better to do and nowhere better to be than here...I would rather be anywhere else other than this place.

I think tonight is a movie night. Into the Wild may be the film of choice. The first time I watched it was after my brother left for boot camp because I know it is one of his favorite movies and I was curious why, plus i missed him a lot. Now this will be the 4th time watching it in a month and I can not get enough.

There's just something about the whole leaving everything behind and doing what you need to do that is so motivating. Plus the whole idea of meeting people along the way... I love doing that. Nothing better than making a new friend. Oh and I love how Eddie Vedder did the soundtrack!

I need to buy the book and read it ASAP.

Tomaso...

This is my little brother. He just joined the Army Reserves in January, Left for Fort Leonardwood, Missouri on January 21st. He's gone until May 9th. I haven't heard from him yet.

I've never gone for more than a month without talking to him (thats when he went to Wyoming on a NOLS adventure) and it suckks! He's 20 months younger than I am but we tell everyone that we're twins because at this point he looks older than I do and I always wanted a twin! 

I'm SO proud of him for doing what he's doing and I just thought everyone should know that. : )

Blue Suede Shoes...

I think the winter blues have officially set in. Even though today was nice (I'd say about 45 and sunny) I was so blah. Blah Blah Blah thats all I felt.

I had a good opportunity to run today... and I didn't. I will provide no excuse because there is none. Just the plain fact that I was too lazy. I mean I did pack our entire living room at the condo today because they start ripping that apart on Monday but still.. I should have ran!

Also, I came to the realization that I move to California in 3 1/2 months. Thats a wild, wild notion. Even though I am so excited and I think that might be adding to the bluesers I'm feeling. yikes! Why can't I just graduate and go already! Boooo school!

I also miss my little brother... i havnt talked to him since January 21st. That's never happened in my life before either. I want him to be done with boot camp and back home so we can hang out. Haha I feel like all I should be listening to right now is old Elvis songs. p.s. Elvis was my brother's favorite growing up.
