Cooking with Catie...

This is what you start with.
Margarine and Crisco. Cream em. Add in the sugars. Cream em.
Eggs and Vanilla. Mix well.
Dry ingredients. Add little bits at a time and mix well.
Add in the chippers. Trays and spread em.
The finished product. BEAUTY!

The recipe comes compliments of Maureen Marcoux. I've been making them since I was 13. They're famous around Washingtonville, NY, Don Bosco Prep football team, and the Villanova football team where she supplied her son's teams with endless amounts of these.

2/3 C. margarine
2/3 C. crisco
1 C. light brown sugar
1 C. white sugar
2 eggs
3 teaspoons of vanilla
3 1/2 C. flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 C. chocolate chips

Bake at 375 for 8 minutes
Note: they don't look done but they are.

  2. Brilliant! Printed and stashed.
Might have to change it for altitude, though...
    Thanks.
