It's all we are about. For a generation with an attention span about the size of a pea we sure know how to do a whole lot of things at once.
For instance... On any given night from the hours of about 9-12PM i will be sitting in my bed with my MAC on my lap, watching whatever TV show I must watch that night while I have my trusty blackberry right by my side just incase I get a call which I can put on speaker and then text at the same time.
So I may not be able to walk and blow bubbles at the same time but I can sure do a few other tricks!
We thrive on multi-tabbed browsing! Again with every network we belong to... Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, oh not to mention the three email addresses you hold!... all must be monitored and god forbid we miss a single friend request!
I think this gives us a huge advantage to the past generations! I've found in the office I can sit, I can do my excel sheets, I can twitter about the museum I work at and at the same time find out everything that is going on in the world. Now, by being apart of all these networks you can reach out to the "friends" you have acquired and who knows who may help you along the way.
I stand by the saying...
"YA GOTTA BE IN IT TO WIN IT!"
