On the Sched...

Here we go!

Saturday. I don't care what I do today but tonight is gonna be good!

First stop is a Pampered Chef party with my Aunt. I promised her I would go. I didn't even know Pampered Chef was still around... whatever.

THENNN

Going to Failte, an Irish Whiskey Bar on 2nd Ave for 2 of my good good friend's birthdays. Not one wee bit of me is Irish but tonight I will embrace my non-heritage. I can honestly say I am not one to indulge often but tonight... I will disregard that fact and let loose. Can not wait! Going to be such a good time. Hopefully I make it back to the Bronx in one piece.

Day End Wrap Up...

SOO in conclusion!

I cleaned my room, refolded my entire closet, fixed my shoes, threw out some crap and found things that still had tags on them!

My Aunt and Uncles son came over with his wife and they're really fun.

Then (since the kitchen still isn't done) the 3 of us went out to dinner. MMM french onion soupy!

No work tomorrow at the Neuberger Museum of Art! WAHOO. but Purchase College stays open none-the-less. apparently we don't believe in celebrating Presidents

One Foot in Front of the Other...

Tied up my sneaks and headed out. I walked with my Aunt and her best friend about 2 miles up the block and then left them to run back home... I forget how much I love running over the winter. Can't stand the treadmill because it's like working... Running on the roads outside is calming and settles me... Aiming for a marathon at the end of this summer. My mind is made up about that one. I found this quote a while ago the sums up exactly how I feel about hitting the open road:

"Running is the opposite of being still. If you think about death as being completely still and movement as a sign of life, then the fastest movement possible is the biggest sign of life. So then running fast is like the exact opposite of death: it’s an example of aliveness.” -Martin Creed

On the Sched...

My Dad is coming down from upstate to have breakfast with me, my Aunt and my Uncle. I loveeee breakfast favorite meal of the day and I'd be more happy if a boy took me out to a beautiful breakfast rather than a fancy dinner.

Dad is also picking up some furniture before they start redoing the living room in the condo. Gotta purge all the old before we can bring in the new.

Also, I'm definitely walking today with my Aunt and our neighbor's girlfriend who is my Aunt's best friend. I think I might turn the walk into a run and meet up with them in the end.

Other than that my time is up for grabs. NICE!

On the Sched...

I love sleeping past 8 o'clock and getting a good 8 hours of sleep! honestly I would have slept later but the guys are in the kitchen screwing cabinets into the wall. SWEEET!

So for today!
  • Watching the Today Show. Matt, Ann, Meredith, and Al always put a smile on my face.
  • My Aunt left me a list to grab some groceries.
  • I havn't set foot out of my bed yet... but if it's nice I'm going to try to run.
  • Actually do homework.
  • Finish really cleaning my room.
I guess whatever the day brings me I will do! Carpe Diem right?! haha
